Book Reivew: Let It Snow

✯✯✯✯ (5 stars)

“I always had this idea that you should never give up a happy middle in the hope of a happy ending, because there is no such thing as a happy ending. Do you know what I mean? There is so much to lose”

~ John Green, Let It Snow

An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.

A trio of today’s bestselling authors – John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle – bring all the magic of the holidays to life in three hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and kisses that will steal your breath away.

My Goodreads Review:
This was an extremely well-written, beautiful book. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories as individuals and as a whole. I was a bit confused until nearing the end of the second story as to whether the stories linked up, but I’m so glad they did! I started piecing things together and wanted to scream through the book about stuff I knew, but I really enjoyed it. It was pieced together excellently and was the perfect holiday/ festive read. It’s something that I would definitely re-read (and that’s not something I say often). I can’t believe I didn’t read it sooner!

If you’re a fan of adorable romances, then this is the Festive, Christmas read for you! Even if you’re not the greatest fan of romances (me), you’ll probably enjoy this for the Christmas season.

I hope you love it as much as I did.
